Proud of our local community

We are proud club members and sponsors at Hitchin Rugby Club. Rugby is in our veins, and has provided untold amounts of joy to the life of Mark Tidey, company director, and his son, Tommy, who has served as club captain at the club and more recently has represented the England Fire Service rugby union team.

We beleive in giving back to the communities we serve, and in particular Hitchin, Hertfordshire, which has a special place in our hearts.

We used to have problems with young “tearaways” at the end of our annual local festival which we tried unsuccessfully to address ourselves. We were all too tired by the end of an exhausting day, so we decided to try a security company – a bit heavy handed? Certainly not, they were able to quell the troublemakers by talking to them, but in such a manner that the boys (and girls) knew that Function Security meant business. We have had very little trouble for a couple of years now and we look forward to them being at our festival again in May.
